WKG Software GmbH

Our team of 20 employees has been providing customers in Germany and the USA with individual software solutions and services since 2002. Our users include medium-sized media companies throughout Germany, companies from the region and various start-ups in the USA. In addition to our headquarters in Hanover, we have offices in Berlin and Laguna Beach, CA.

Customer service and customer satisfaction are our top priority. Our team combines the fun of software development and the daily challenge of solving problems. Our methods are agile and we are known as a “speedboat”. For us, this means short response and completion times with high quality standards at transparent costs.

our locations

Hanover, Germany

The founders have known each other from Hanover since 1987 and have therefore chosen the company headquarters in Lower Saxony’s fantastic capital. As Hanoverians we naturally love our region and help to strengthen it wherever possible. Since the company was founded, we have been working closely with the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (FHDW) and have already supported over 10 students in their dual training for Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees. The central location and the good transport connections enable us to provide intensive support to our customers on site from Westerland on Sylt to Munich in Bavaria.

Laguna Beach, California USA

Our founding partner Boris Gundelach emigrated to the USA with his family in 2009 and has since been acquiring start-ups for mobile apps in California on behalf of WKG. The proximity to Irvine, Orange County’s new Silicon Valley, and his commitment as a co-organizer of the OCiOS Group with over 1700 members enable us to implement numerous exciting projects with highly motivated and well-networked partners. Numerous apps have emerged from these joint ventures, a selection of which we present here on our homepage.

Berlin, Germany

Since 2014 we also have an office in Berlin, which offers space for a further 10 employees. This enabled us to significantly increase our chances of finding good software developers. In addition, the federal capital offers a further exciting regional market for individual software projects with many young start-ups and as one of the leading locations for media, information and communication technology in Germany. Our office in Kirchstrasse in Berlin Moabit is in a great location on the Spree in the immediate vicinity of the Tiergarten with a variety of cafés, restaurants and excellent transport links.

Our team

This is us

Our team consists of professional software developers with many years of professional experience. We are constantly training junior developers in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences for Business (FHWD) Hanover.

In addition to our permanent employees, we have access to a pool of highly trained freelancers with many years of project experience and a very wide range of technologies via our network. This means that we are also perfectly positioned for larger projects. If it matters, we can put together a new project team within a few days.

Our hierarchies are flat and decision-making processes are short. This enables us to act quickly. The working atmosphere is familiar and friendly. We all work together towards one goal: customer satisfaction.
